Emily Rademacher

It's pretty easy for Emily to find beautiful things - or at least a beautiful perspective - to photograph. She has dedicated over half her life to understanding the intricacies of light, photographic method, and playful chitchat. Living in Truckee, CA, she spends much of her free time tooling around in nature with camera in tow. She's also a mom, artist, friend, philosopher, and world-class goofball.

The main phocus of Emily Rademacher's career during that time was family portraiture, weddings, events, and real estate.

Partnered with Dave Donnelly Photography  / 2016-Present

Dave Donnelly taught Emily the ins and outs of real estate photography, encouraged her to become drone certified, taught her how to fly the drone, and offered her endless work in the Truckee/Tahoe Region. She is forever indebted to his kindness, professionalism, and generosity.

As her first legitimate business operation, Emily dabbled in a wide variety of photography, from editorial for a small newspaper, to weddings, infant, family, food, sports, events, and macro. She also did some light work as an independent graphic design artist. ​

Photographer at Moonshine Ink / 2009-2016

This was Emily's big launch into the world of professional photography, and owes a great deal of her skillset, professionalism, and photographic courage to her experience there. ​

Education

Emily has an AA in Graphic Design and Photography from Santa Barbara City College, and studied journalism, photography and film at University of Nevada, Reno.
